With over 6000 square metres of manufacturing area, we can provide a totally integrated capability for the precision machining, testing and assembly of complex components for a range of industries.

Manual Machining

We have an array of manual machining capabilities, which include milling, turning, grinding. This gives us the capability to produce bespoke one off assembly and sub-assembly components, often for the nuclear sector. This also facilitates in house jig and fixturing requirements to supplement our CNC manufacturing facilities. 

Our apprentiship training is centred around a manual basis. This gives our apprentices good machine shop practice, allowing them to develop core engineering principles.

Vertical and Horizontal Boring

We have vertical boring capacity of 500mm diametre up 2160mm to a maximum height of 1800mm. We manufacture a wide range of gas turbine engine casings, rings, seals, diaphragms and high-precision bearing systems.

5 Axis Multi-Tasking

Our wide range of 5-axis multi-tasking machining centres allow us to machine highly complex and high tolerance components up to 3.4 metres in diameter.

We have made continuous investment in new facilities and machinery, utilising the latest high-speed cutting tools in conjunction with our UniGraphics NX CAD/CAM technologies.
